New book on its way!
Observant visitors to the site might notice a new image on the right – the cover of my new book! Television & American Culture, the textbook I’ve been writing with intermittent furiousness for the past four years, has gone to press and will be released in mid-February. If you want to learn more, visit the Television & American Culture resource website (and if you feel so moved, link to it from your own site to get Google to notice). If you’re a faculty member who wants to examine it for a potential course, Oxford University Press can hook you up with a review copy. (If you’re teaching something this spring and might want to do a late adoption, let me know and I can answer any questions if you want to adopt it sight unseen.)
Or if you want to go ahead and purchase it, it’s available for pre-order from Amazon. And feel free to join the book’s Facebook group, especially if you have any ideas what I might use the group for!
As a bonus for blog readers, here’s the enlarged cover picture in all of its multi-screen glory:
